Location History search is a helpful tool to find which vehicles were near the report of an incident or where they were at a particular time.
Location History
You can view Location History in 2 ways:
View Location History by Right Clicking on the Map
- On the Map page, right click to populate the ‘Location History' option.
- Select ‘Location History’ to populate the Location History menu.
View Location History by Selecting ‘Location History’ from the Map Toolbar:
- On the Map page, select ‘Location History' from the Map toolbar.
- Enter search parameters.
- Choose up to a 5 day range within the last 2 years.
- In the ‘Location’ field, enter an address or click on the map to create a temporary geofence.
- Choose the radius (minimum 0.25 miles, maximum 10 miles).
- Choose a group of trackers or an individual tracker.
NOTE: For large customers, limiting search to a group will help with the performance of the search.
- View search results and export to a spreadsheet.
- The search results will first populate in the window and then give the option to export.
- NOTE: Asterisks * indicate that the entry or exit from the radius was before or after the time frame chosen if that time can be confirmed within 10 minutes of the start/end time.
- If the time is not confirmed, the system will use the most recent date/time that can be confirmed within the time frame selected.
